ANTHOLOGY SUBMISSIONS

 

Writers Retreat Edition:

 

This anthology grows out of the Casa de María Publisher Writers Retreats and companion webinar series. It is a space for work shaped in community, through guided reflection, sustained writing time, and intentional craft conversations.

 

Submissions are open to writers who participated in a Casa de María retreat, either in person or virtually. The work submitted should reflect writing developed during or in direct connection to that experience.

 

This anthology is not seeking polished perfection. It is seeking work that demonstrates engagement, revision, and thoughtful attention to voice, form, and meaning. Pieces may still be evolving. What matters most is clarity of intention and a sense of care in how the work is held on the page.

 

Casa de María Publisher approaches anthology work as a collaborative editorial process. Submissions are reviewed with respect for the writer’s voice and the context in which the work was created. Writers selected for inclusion will be guided through a transparent editorial process that honors both creative integrity and professional standards.
